Stampin' Up! Inspire Create Share Convention 2014 - Day 2

Day 2 started for me with a march across the stage for my achievement of the Getaway Trip to Washington, DC!  It was so much fun!  But the fun did not stop there, the day was full of fun with presentations, classes and crafting!

Yes that latte might reveal my lack of sleep!

It was also a day that would include meeting a number of important people within the Stampin' Up! corporation.  Beginning with meeting Rich Jutkins, President & COO and Scott Nielson, Chief Financial Officer.  Then including "famous" people with the Stampin' Up! world, such as fellow demonstrators: Brian King (one of last year's Rising Stars), Lynsay Mahon (Founder's Circle recipient from Canada) and Krista Frattin (Founder's Circle recipient from Canada and a presentor I watched at last year's Convention).

Friday night included Awards Night!  I have to admit I was nervous knowing that I would again take the stage today, but not just to walk across!  Rising Star was the first achievement to be recognized and my name was the very first to be called, and I quickly learned the only name from Canada for this award!  I proudly took the stage and found myself one of 3 in North America to achieve this award.  CLOUD NINE! I felt "famous" for that moment and I'm sure I am still smiling!  On stage I received a hug from Shelli, a perfect way to meet the CEO and Cofounder of Stampin' Up!  A moment I will cherish!

Then off to the after party for a live Country band, line dancing, bull riding, food and meeting lots of new people, including Sara Douglass, Advisor to the CEO, who said we should have lunch or dinner together in Washington, DC on the Getaway Trip!

This picture says it all, as you find Sara and my shoes, with bling of course, finding their way into our purses after an evening of excitement, fun and memories (that I can't wait to memory keep with Project Life with Stampin' Up!).

Stampin' Up! Inspire Create Share Convention 2014 - Day 1

Wow!  What a world wind few days!  On Wednesday, Helen (one of my downlines) and myself arrived in Salt Lake City for the Stampin’ Up! Annual Convention, Inspire Create Share.  We immediately checked into our hotel, dropped our luggage and rushed to the SLC Convention Centre for the Paper Pumpkin Night Out!  We caught the last few minutes and got a glimpse at the glimmer and excitement that we would be participating in for the next 3 days!

General Session started Thursday morning early at 8:30am and very different than last year, as it started with an all attendee Prize Patrol and we received a FREE STAMP SET!  This was followed by a warm welcome from Shelli, a special visit from Becky Higgins, creator of Project Life with Stampin' Up! (watch for more information about memory keeping your life to paper on my blog in the near future) and ended with everyone receiving a copy of the new Holiday Catalogue!  Yahoo!!!

Next we were off to Helen’s first organized swap and off to the Gathering Place to meet my wonderful Business Development Advisor, Sara that I have been working with since January!  What an incredible moment, meeting the face behind the voice I have heard every 2 weeks to assist me in my journey of achievements this year!  This is one special lady to me!  Thank you Sara for your role in my growing career with SU!

After this special moment with Sara, we set out on our bus ride to tour Head Office.  Here are some pictures from the SU Head Office:

After our tour, I visited the Recognition Room, which is a special place for those of us who earned an award.  I was honoured with 4 achievements this year!  I am still in shock!  I will share more later in this post, as right now I want to share more about the Recognition Room, in this room we were pamperd with drinks, chocolates, comfy seating & posh décor, along with a fun achievements photo booth with a variety of props!  Here are a few of my shots:

A great day in Salt Lake City!  You too can be part of this!  Join my team today to share in more experiences like this and join the fun with Stampin' Up!
