Yes that latte might reveal my lack of sleep!
It was also a day that would include meeting a number of important people within the Stampin' Up! corporation. Beginning with meeting Rich Jutkins, President & COO and Scott Nielson, Chief Financial Officer. Then including "famous" people with the Stampin' Up! world, such as fellow demonstrators: Brian King (one of last year's Rising Stars), Lynsay Mahon (Founder's Circle recipient from Canada) and Krista Frattin (Founder's Circle recipient from Canada and a presentor I watched at last year's Convention).
Friday night included Awards Night! I have to admit I was nervous knowing that I would again take the stage today, but not just to walk across! Rising Star was the first achievement to be recognized and my name was the very first to be called, and I quickly learned the only name from Canada for this award! I proudly took the stage and found myself one of 3 in North America to achieve this award. CLOUD NINE! I felt "famous" for that moment and I'm sure I am still smiling! On stage I received a hug from Shelli, a perfect way to meet the CEO and Cofounder of Stampin' Up! A moment I will cherish!
Then off to the after party for a live Country band, line dancing, bull riding, food and meeting lots of new people, including Sara Douglass, Advisor to the CEO, who said we should have lunch or dinner together in Washington, DC on the Getaway Trip!
This picture says it all, as you find Sara and my shoes, with bling of course, finding their way into our purses after an evening of excitement, fun and memories (that I can't wait to memory keep with Project Life with Stampin' Up!).
