It's a new year!

Happy new year everyone!  I know I am a little late in saying that as I was saving this great project that I designed and made to share with you after a class I had planned!  Last week I offered this as a class and it was so much fun to make this calendar!  I have to tell you that I knew I wanted to do this calendar for a long time, but could not make up my mind with all our wonderful designer series paper as to which one I would use!  Then brilliance struck and I knew exactly which paper would be perfect, and I truly mean perfect, for this project.....the Colour Theory Memories & More Card Pack! Yes this package was absolutely perfect, the theme, the heavier cardstock and the embellishments!  Oh ya, can you say Success!  Yay!  I can't wait to share the project with you, so I will be quiet now and share!

Stampin' Blends

You heard right!  Stampin' Up! has alcohol markers!  I have been playing with mine for the past few weeks and have to share...I'm in love!  I love colouring so much more when there is no streaks and you can easily add depth with blending!  Vibrant colours and so easy to work with! Love love love!

Some of the features of the new markers are:

• Add just the right amount of color where you need it with the brush tip or fine-point.
• Each color (except Ivory and Bronze) has a light and dark shade marker, available individually or in a combo pack.
• Press fit seal prevents air from entering the barrel and causing evaporation.
