Weekly Deals are here!  This week has so many wonderful goodies that I don't know where to begin!  So I thought I would share some projects that I did using some of these wonderful products so that you can see what more you can do with them!

This fun design has incorporated the Maritime Designer Series Paper!  It's this octopus stamp so much fun!

This card was for my #1!  The love of my life, Jeff, who makes this all possible! My Valentine's card to him includes the Chalkboard paper and the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper.

These last two designs highlight some of the Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper!  Love the colours, so easy to work with!

Northern Lights

A new technique that I taught at my Hostess Club the other night and wanted to share with you!

I was inspired to try this card after I saw one of my team members, Julie Swaren, posting a card she had made using this technique.  I was very shocked to learn that this effect was achieved by primarily using only 3 ink colours!

I have only seen the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, once in my life.  I hope to see them again as it was incredible how the sky lite up colour that seemed to dance and change so beautifully.

Here is a few interesting facts about the Aurora:
- best seen at a time called magnetic midnight
-  In northern latitudes, the effect is known as the aurora borealis (or the northern lights), named after the Roman goddess of dawn, Aurora, and the Greek name for the north wind, Boreas, by Galileo in 1619
- In southern latitudes, the effect is known as the aurora australis
- Aurorae are caused by cosmic rays, solar wind and magnetospheric plasma interacting with the upper atmosphere.

No matter what the name, it is an incredible site to watch and a cool effect to bring to paper!

Sneak Peek - Day 3

I have to share....my new catalogues arrive today!  So please request one today to get your copy!   Until then, here is another sneak peek!  Check out these new great letters for layering!  The set includes a solid circle and rectangle that you can stamp alone or overlap (as seen below in this sample), as a background, and then stamp any word over them or without them.  I love the size they are, and how the fun font will be so versatile!  Endless possibilities with this set!

Another thing that really caught my eye, is the black and white words paper!  I love it!  Yes I do have a soft spot for the black and white, as I find it so easy to work with and just add a splash of any colour.    I am guessing that it is from the new Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack.  Have you ever bought one of these stacks?  I love them as you get 2 sheets of each of the 2 double sided patterns in all 10 of the colours in the colour family!  So you always have that coordinating pattern paper to go with your card stock!   This stack is 12 x 12.  And guess what, our smaller stacks have grown in size and now are 6x6!!!  I am so elated by this!  This makes working with them far more functional.  I can't wait to see all the new Designer Series paper stacks and paper.
