 Happy belated Valentine's!

I am a little late but my love is not!  I know that the special day to celebrate Love has past but I am a strong believer that we should share our love and magic everyday!  So here is me sharing a glimpse at my love in this project...and believe me when I say I believe there is magic in it too!

I recently had the opportunity to demonstrate a Make & Take at a special event with local demonstrators!  It was so much fun!  You might be asking what is a Make & Take?  Well I don't know if there is any official definition but my thoughts when I think Make & Take is a super shareable quick and easy project that everyone can Make, and they get to Take it home!  So really the options are endless!  So my excitement rose with this opportunity to highlight the Love Notes Designer Series Paper and make Valentine's for everyone!

This project is for all ages and I know you can make it too!  Also you aren't limited to make it with this patterned paper, any will do, or any occasion!

Are you ready to see them??   I hope so!  Here they are!

Aren't these adorable!  All the paper in this package coordinates, so it is so simply to make quick and easy Love Notes!  Each has a coordinating envelope and card, and I did give each person a chocolate to add too!

Ready to give them a try?  Here is how:

Step 1 is to make a template to save time as I repeated this process for each Love Note.  My first tip, use the cardboard from the packaging to make your template.   You just need a square that is 3 1/4" by 3 1/4".

Step 2, cut your 6x6 patterned paper piece down by 1/2" on each side, resulting in a 5" x 5" piece.  Set the scraps aside for use to decorate your Love Note.

Step 3, place the template in the area of the centre of the  5" x 5" piece laying like a diamond.  You want to  have the template slightly below the edges of top of the diamond and not perfectly in the centre of the diamond...the reason being, you need more edges on the bottom there sides so that you can adhere together.

Step 4, fold and crease on all four sides.  Remove template and then add adhesive on bottom of both the left and right side.  Fold centre up and then adhere left and right sides to the bottom panel...and ready for the magic.....viola, you have an envelope!
I finished the envelope by adhering one of the greetings from the Love Notes designer series paper to the front.

So now that you have a cute envelope, you need a Love Note to fill it!  I again utilized this gorgeous fun paper and cut out one of 3"x 3" predesigned images.   Now remember those 1/2" stripes from earlier (step 2 from the envelope), adhere one or two (3" length) to the Love Note to add dress it up a little, and then finish it off with a few of the Loose Valentine's Assortment.

Wasn't that fun?  Quick and Easy?  Just like that a little magic and love made in minutes!

Here are a few of my samples from teaching at the event:

I hope you find the magic and love in these quick and easy Love Notes!  If you haven't seen all the fun designs in this great Designer Series Paper, check it out!  I have been having so much fun making quick tiny notes and cards with this pack!  Reach out if you have any questions!
